Presence of Irregular Migration Flow Data in Public Debates and Policy Decision-Making? Insights from a Multiple Case Study Analysis (Norbert Cyrus, Senior Researcher, University of Osnabrück) Together, the presentations will highlight the dynamic interplay of data, policymaking and public debates, offering valuable perspectives for researchers, policymakers, practitioners. The presenters will discuss the quality and the accessibility of irregular migration data, which oftentimes relies on estimates and proxy indicators collected for other purposes. They will also identify obstacles to the effective use of data, and provide practical insights from case studies and best practice examples.
